The Classic Furniture From Baro Design

The world has been going very fast lately, and people gradually are craving for slower, classic designs. Designs made with immaculate details, carrying delicate stories and hands of numerous talents, are gently getting accepted. Baro Design, a Mumbai based furniture and lighting brand, is following a similar leisure and precise path of design.

The founder, Siddhartha Sirohi, established the brand, back in the year 2016. Furthermore, he was awarded the first ever Lexus India Design for Furniture and interior accessories in 2018. His vision for the company was clear- to create products that not just take time in their making, but also in their understanding and impact on us.

The furniture design firm believes that, “When we are present with a moment, time seems to slow down.” Their product range includes furniture for seating, low tables, desks and dining, and storage systems like consoles and cabinets, lamps and even fabrics. Each of their objects is crafted out of wood, so that they can tap onto the sustainability spectrum. Additionally, the wood is polished with linseed oil and beeswax, for a smoother contour.

The process they follow is quite impeccable and with pristine movements. Now, wood is a material that is bound to expand or shrink as per the change of the seasons. Hence, the brand agreed upon making such pieces that sets the wood free, rather than confining it in frames or boundaries.
The process of this furniture store begins with choosing the finest grained wood to work upon. Then the craftsmen imbibe their skills into making of the furniture, intertwining their caliber into masterpieces they mold. Lastly, a significant amount of importance is given to ergonomics, to ensure that the furniture is relaxed and comfortable to be used and seated on.

Baro Design’s office furniture

It is a must try for every office that needs a flexible space and is convenient to utilize. Two of their famous office desks include:

1. Nawab:
Fabricated out of reclaimed Teak Wood and natural polish, the major feature is its minimalistic spirit. Rooting its inspiration from Mid Century tables, this desk has wide legs, with hidden shelves and a handleless drawer. The desk suits perfectly for spaces that respect simplistic beauty.

2. Begum:
This desk is suitable for individuals who want to store their stuff and need an amalgamation of a desk and storage units. Hence, the desk offers drawers and shelves with a rather structured form. Further other desks like Nippon, draws its inspiration from Japanese trestle tables. The Nilgiri Table has a circular Table top which in fact is divided into two parts for better sturdity. The furniture store, Baro Design has a lot to whisper through its products and the deeper you delve, the closer you will find yourself to your own soul.
