The Corallo Collection is dedicated to the sea; the two Seabed and Acqua lines are recognizable by the color of the background: one is white and one is light blue. This stunning collection is entirely crafted by hand in the finest porcelain.
They depict the seabed through the eyes of a fish. No plate is the same as the other, because each one has a sort of coral reef that appears more or less often. Sometimes a coral appears, sometimes two and sometimes none. The beauty and magic are the experience and thrill of an adventurous journey of a fish. The white background is adorned with a visually striking combination of colors to evoke the presence of corals, pink sand, and mysterious multicolored gems at the bottom of the sea. It is possible to combine this with the other items in the Seabed series for a complete set.

Growing up in the Italian countryside, as a child Coralla Maiuri loved digging around in the mud and playing with colours. These experiences started her on the path to becoming the artist she is today and the messy and beautifully chaotic designs have now become her signature. Starting off with installations and videos, Coralla went on to create furniture and ceramics, with the latter now her biggest passion. She uses her designs as a way to express life itself: from a seed that grows in the earth to the mysteries of space. Her use of colour with glints of silver and gold creates a magical expression and through the designs emerges a primitive and precious aesthetic. Like a diamond in the rough.
