BarlisWedlick undertook the extension, enhancing the foundation with locally quarried granite that seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings. A noteworthy addition to this base is the strategically incorporated swimming pool, creating a harmonious blend of luxury and nature. The reconstructed base now boasts a robust thermal barrier, thanks to the integration of high-performance windows, heat recovery ventilators, and layers of advanced insulation.
The upper level underwent a visionary re-imagination, emerging as a sleek glass pavilion. This refined space now houses three distinctive studios, with a central studio serving as the focal point. Flanked by two wood-burning fireplaces adorned with bluestone mantels, the central studio exudes warmth and sophistication. Adjacent to this central hub, another smaller studio doubles as a versatile meeting or dining area, complete with a discreetly positioned kitchen behind it. On the opposite side, yet another small studio offers flexibility, functioning as a bedroom with the convenience of a Murphy bed and an en-suite bathroom.
