The notion of Leather will transform forever the moment you lay your eyes on the furniture and decor accessories created by Bobby Aggarwal, Designer and Founder of Portside Cafe. From coffee tables with roses to trunks in bright hues, from striking chests of drawers in black and white stripes to lampshades inspired by coral reefs, Bobby Aggarwal has contrived leather in multiple colors and forms while elevating its regal look.
Bobby’s design repertoire grew and he forayed into leather furniture, collaborating with some well-known international brands. In 2007, he established his brand of leather furniture, with its first store in New Delhi – Portside Cafe.

Artistic Leather Craftsmanship
The writer’s desk idea was to be ‘inspired’ by the campaign-style furniture but with a newness that made them more contemporary and relatable to the younger traveler, without taking away classical elements.
So they faithfully adhered to the original material palette but with their take on it. Beautiful brass accents combined with oil-polished wood, hand-stained leather, and a canvas pin-board that comes attached to the desk are a fine example of a classic re-visited!
Resembling the crescent of a new moon, the half-moon table lamp is a unique accessory to own. The whole lamp, including the shade, is clad in leather & is lit up with LED lights which impart a soft glow onto its immediate surroundings.
The leather mugs have been painstakingly crafted by highly skilled artisans and the ombre shading with the help of broad brushes adds a touch that takes them to the next level. You can get creative with their use to decorate your shelves or use them as containers for your various paintbrush collections. A warning though – they are not water-friendly!
Handcrafted and hand-finished pieces are testaments to Portside Cafe, so visit to experience ‘artistic’ style with Portside Cafe.
