Radisson Berlin: A Living Landmark in the Heart of the Capital.

Radisson Berlin

Radisson Berlin is no stranger to making headlines. Once famed for its towering cylindrical aquarium—the AquaDom—it now stuns anew with a dramatic transformation. After the aquarium’s unexpected collapse in late 2022, many wondered what would rise from the ruins. The answer? A bold reinvention rooted in nature, design, and Berlin’s signature spirit of resilience.

Radisson Berlin Reimagined: Where the Forest Meets the City

Replacing the AquaDom is the “Living Tree”—a soaring 24-metre vertical garden that redefines the hotel’s atrium. Designed by Dan Pearlman Markenarchitektur, it features 1,600+ plants across 22 species, forming a living sculpture that breathes, purifies, and glows with dynamic lighting throughout the day. The installation doesn’t just serve as a centrepiece—it’s a manifesto. One that speaks of renewal, biophilic design, and the art of blending sustainability with luxury.

Meanwhile, the interiors by Proyecto Singular and Radisson’s in-house team lean into Nordic minimalism with plush undertones. Think cathedral-facing balconies, soft greys, warm wood, and light-filled corridors that balance sleek precision with soul. With 427 rooms and suites (don’t miss the cathedral views from the Premium Collection or the expansive Nikolai Suite), the hotel sets a new benchmark for modern luxury in Berlin.

Culinary Highlights and an Elevated Urban Pulse

At the ground level, San Éna serves up Greek flavours with a Berlin twist. This sunlit Mediterranean dining room, with terrace views of the Spree, is a hotspot for brunches, business lunches, and moonlit dinners under the shadow of the cathedral. It’s refined yet relaxed—exactly what the new Radisson Berlin identity calls for.

A few steps away, the Atrium Bar now plays triple duty: stylish cocktail destination, co-working hideaway, and gathering space. Sipping an artisanal negroni beneath the Living Tree while jazz hums in the background? It’s Berlin at its most atmospheric.

Add to that a wellness zone with a Finnish sauna, gym, and indoor pool, plus 2,750 sqm of event spaces spread over three floors—and Radisson Berlin isn’t just back. It’s blooming.
