The spectacular Dining Space is the brainchild of Riddhima, the founder of Danza Del Design, and her prestigious team. The global design and development firm creates “spaces with soul”. It crafts residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces with its offices in India and UAE The cafe sports a grand pool, 150 luxury rooms, and an unforgettable Dining Space.
Diving into this majestic 3500 sq feet space, we were mesmerized by the aesthetic cafe decor and its structural beauty.
The Construction Narrative of The Dining Space
In the initial stages, the 3500 plot site was seen featuring a dilapidated pool. This resulted in leaving behind very minimal space for aquatic respite. Hence, the plan was improvised to create a magnificent pool within the parameters and build an oasis around it. What struck us the most about this idea was that this idea helped create an isolated, private paradise. However, that does have the drawback of being geographically far away from other essentials. To overcome this, the Dining Space was adorned with the adorable concept of sip, dip, and dine!
Neutral and Unforgettable Colour Palette
What is Goa’s atmosphere known for? Of course, sunset paradise views! Hence, drawing its inspiration from nature, the innovative cafe interiors are dipped in the colors of sunset. This makes visitors feel as if they are already amid a gorgeous sunset. Moreover, such a neutral color palette gives a tranquil atmosphere to the Dining Space, resulting in the best cafe ambiance.
Peeping Through The Beauty of Arches
Probably this stands as the heart of Izzipizzi and the rest of things are just pulsating around it. To improve our usual dining experience, a few arches were brought into the game These colossal 14” tall arches are the epitome of an artisanal cafe experience. They have their own spaces with Goan terms like Sunshine, Good Times, and Tanliness. Mosaic birds on the walls transport us to a gorgeous forest whereas bamboo chandeliers remind us of sustainability.
The breathtaking arches are a true beauty on the face of architecture. The ACP-clad exterior and a flexible marine ply grid with LED cove lighting make the perfect combination. The weather-resistant ACP sheets stand strong against cool Goan weather. An ornamented photo booth in the corner makes it one of the most desirable Instagram-worthy cafe spaces.
Opposite to these, stands the 90-foot fool with a versatile jacuzzi, waiting to be dipped in. Moreover, the entire space is enhanced with a water ballet orchestrated by a spectacular fountain.
A Creative Sprinkle of Flavours
Riddhima believed that the Izzipizzi wasn’t meant to carry just a luxurious accent. Instead, her vision was to include creative restaurant dishes, relaxation, and comfort in the space. In her words, “Izzipizzi isn’t just a design, it’s an ode to the fusion of concept, flavor, and ambiance inviting patrons to indulge in poolside comfort”.
Hence, she made a renovation to the cafe’s menu. She included global elements that are of a global taste and cooked with locally sourced materials. Hence, it carries distinctive dishes like “falafel poi”, beef jacked burger with the essence of Jack Daniel’s, and many more in the line.
