Nanimarquina introduces a new collection of strong, saturated, and energetic colors that represent the first plain dhurrie in the catalog. Unlike other dhurries, Colors is a high-quality dhurrie made in India in which the fringe is part of the structure itself.
Marquina’s creation can be combined with the amorphous flowers of the Flora collection in collaboration with artist Santi Moix.
After studying industrial design at the Escuela Massana of Barcelona and realizing the success of her first made-to-order textile designs, Nani Marquina embarked on the at-the-time unknown career of industrial design. This made a profound impression on Nani, fostering a deep conviction to follow in her father’s footsteps and the family tradition of design. Nani founded Nanimarquina in 1987, driven by the desire to create innovative rugs.
Driven by a singular desire and a very creative background, Nani established Nanimarquina in 1987 with a clear goal: to design unique and surprising handcrafted rugs for people to enjoy.
