After studying Political Sciences and Marketing Management, Designer Alain Gilles started working in the financial word. But one has wanted to do something on his own. He was blessed to get the moral support of his wife so he went back to studying Industrial design at the ISD in France. Alain Gilles worked with Xavier Lust as an assistant in his creations, and then was hired by Quinze & Milan even before he could finish graduation.
He then worked for Arne Quinze for two and a half as a designer, developer and project manager on several high profile projects for world-renowned architects and editors. Finally he opened is own studio in 2007 to fulfill his own dreams and create his personal approach to product design, furniture design, art direction and interior architecture. Ever since then he has been collaborating with several international editors and has created a niche name for himself.
