Embracing Tradition: KOKO’s Inauguration by the Mother-Daughter Duo
K2India is a multidisciplinary interior design brand in New Delhi, started in 2010 by Sunita Kohli and her daughter Kohelika Kohli, striving towards quality and creativity. We all know that Riwaayat, the Urdu term for ‘traditions’, has a vital place in the densely rich culture of India, and our spaces, the way we live, and who we are- all are defined by our traditions. Thus weaving such dynamic traditions into their ideas, the mother-daughter duo raised KOKO, just this year.
Sunita Kholi is an Interior Designer, Architectural Restorer, Furniture Manufacturer and has even restored important buildings like the Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the Parliament House Colonnade, to name a few, and is a treasure box of traveling India’s length and breadth, absorbing their enormous cultural expanse. Her daughter, Kohelika Kohli, received her education from Pratt Institute of Design In New York and stands as the CEO and Creative Director of K2India.
Hence KOKO subjugates the experiences and pre-eminence of both the designers and hosts a 21st-century-era furniture assortment- symphonic and contemporary. Coalescence of wood with other materials, further mingling them with textures, colors, a hit of nostalgia, a dash of pop, finishes of folklores, and a heart of culture- all these blends narrate the intriguing furniture of KOKO.

As mentioned before, KOKO’s products unfold captivating stories, capturing moments of excellence. Its Mysterious Sideboard is set with Saint Laurent Italian Marble, designed with geometric shapes dipped in tints of brown.
The Sanderson Bar is hugged with solid teak wood, dipped with a charcoal finish, speaking of its sleek design. While the Sagano Sofa Settee is built with the same material, upholstered in fabric, exuberating a pashmina-like softness. The Laila Chest of Drawers is topped with a black granite leather finish, with alluring fuses of materials like pyrite and black resin for the exteriors, and interiors with oak veneer charcoal finish, all of it wrapped in enchanting conjectures of lines.
