The international festival, Venice Glass Week was hosted from 9th September to 17th September. Renowned for its spectacular Glassware craftsmanship, Venice is meant to promote this art. It held a range of events, exhibitions, tours, and many more to complement its palatial art of glass. This was the event’s seventh edition and an ode to its extravagant impact. Amid all the brands and designers, Venini broke out a beautiful light. It smartly showcased an incredible exhibition entitled ‘Venini’s Universe’ in its Murano Showroom. This universe held their unique glassware designs, collections, and expertise. Furthermore, it was a short journey to conclude that the brand’s caliber is like no other.
Peeping into Venini’s Glassware Exhibition
The Italian brand meticulously included designs from one of its major collections, the new Ginkgo Biloba collection. Apart from this, it displayed exquisitely selected decorative glassware from other collections. With such a varied choice, they commenced the mingling of cultures, colors, and creativity. All these designs were handpicked by Venini’s President and Art Director Silvia Damiani and Marco Piva. Venini also portrays the brand’s ethics of innovation and reinvention. After all, that’s what makes a designer true to his profession.
The Masterpieces Designs Exhibited at Venini’s Event
Venini has a subtle way to converse through its products. For instance, the bright yellow hue of their designs shone through the hearts of the audience. The color got its inspiration from an incredible tree of oriental origin. Rare in its species, the tree lights up with a golden hue at this time of year. Moreover, this indicates the revitalization of the old elements and the welcoming of the new ones.
The Ginkgo Biloba collection features this bright yellow shade and the brand presents other products in this shade. Hence, Venini’s Fazzoletto draws on this golden shade to create a graceful design. Likewise, vases like Deco, Monofiore Balloton, Opalino, Bloom, and Ritagli are dipped in a similar golden hue. The vases were all the art of various curious designers and revived by a splendid hue. The luminous yellow hue remained the highlight of the incredible exhibition and created a sense of boldness. The Balloton Luce comes from the Balloton collection and is the epitome of artistic Glassware. Featured with a cross-relief, pointed effect, this lamp is an incomprehensible art in itself.
Furthermore, its table lamp version holds dimmable LED technology, allowing us to peek through its gorgeous feel. The legendary 1930 Deco Luce vase is revived into a rechargeable table lamp. Flaunting the beauty of contemporary glass art, the vase carries a vintage aura. It whispers yet impactfully about its magnificent aesthetics. This perfect glass art exhibition was enhanced by the exotic interior tastes of the showroom.
